The Motorola train keep moving on, it appears they are slowly giving Windows Mobile the boot in favor for Android, only time will tell if Motorola will ever trod that path.

Last time around Motorola got rid of Symbian in favor of Android and Windows Mobile, but as the reconstruction of the once powerful Mobile Phone manufacture continues, it seems Motorola is choosing to side a little bit more closer with Google Android. According to a report, Motorola will use Android as its sole Operating System for Smartphones, such a move will put a bullet into the spine of Microsoft and most likely force them to show their hands where Windows Mobile 7 is concerned.

I believe this report holds allot of merit because, Motorola is bleeding dollars rapidly, the economy is all messed up, the best way to save money right now is to go Linux Open Source. Android is free unlike Windows Mobile which requires a fee, in my honest opinion, this would be the best move for Motorola at this time, they can always jump back on WinMo at a later time.
