The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 is now being sold available at all Maxis stores across Malaysia nationwide at RM1,199 (about $336) with a two year contract.
It also good to note that unlocked, contract-less units are also available for RM1,999 (about $560).
The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 smartphone has a black finish and chrome-finished frame with two high-resolution, light-sensing color displays on its external screen for viewing of incoming calls, email and text messages.
It allows quick access to popular social networking sites such as Facebook and IM apps like Windows Live Messenger. DataViz's Documents to Go also comes pre-installed, empowering ustomers to edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on the smartphone.
Other features: a decent camera, the popular SureType QWERTY keyboard, WIFI and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support.
