The MWC 2009 in Barcelona, Spain may be as exciting as the CES 2009 in Las Vegas, USA with the rumoured release of a Samsung smartphone codenamed "Pivot", said to be the first to be powered by the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.

Referring to a blog post on the retail website eXpansys, MSMobiles reports that Samsung's Pivot will be a follow up to the i780 smartphone and that it will also have a five-megapixel camera with LED flash, QWERTY keyboard, A-GPS, Bluetooth and WIFI, among others.

The eXpansys leak has been echoed across several tech sites and Samsung has not denied anything that has been reported.
