At the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2009, Toshiba is aiming to wow the crowd with a Windows Mobile phone like no other, this will rock you. The phone is currently known as the Toshiba TG01, it will be the first handset to feature Qualcomms 1GHz Snapdragon processor at the heart so you can bet that the TG01 will be a speedy beast, no more shall you experience snail like performance from Windows Mobile with Toshiba's darling.
Other specs worth mentioning is the 4.1inch WVGA resistive touch-screen display, microSDHC, DivX support, aGPS, G-sensor, full Flash support, and not to mention a new User Interface, maybe something along the lines of or better than HTC TouchFlo 3D technology. Toshiba did the unthinkable and said the TGo1 is, "faster, slimmer and better than the iPhone" interesting choice of words there, lets hope it doesn't come back to haunt them in the future.
and where is the app store for that? Where Toshiba will get the hundreds of application and the distribution model iPhone has?
