Motorola announced Friday the impending release of three handsets in the huge mobile phone market in India: the Windows Mobile-powered MOTOSURF A3000, the MOTOROKR EM35 and the MOTO VE66.

The bunch of Motorola phones is headlined by the touch tablet MOTOSURF A3000. Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, users can navigate using a finger, a stylus or an omni-directional trackball. It supports threaded SMS, and has WIFI and GPS support. It also comes with a 3-megapixel auto-focus camera, a standard 3.5mm jack, and a memory expansion slot up to 32GB.

The MOTOROKR EM35 which is powered by LiMo and boasts of a robust music player with a full suite of dedicated music keys. It has built-in dual speakers, stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, support for 3.5mm stereo wired headphones, 5:1 surround sound, a 3.1-megapixel camera with video capture and playback capability, FM radio with RDS, 110MB of on-board memory and an expansion slot that can take up up to 32GB.

The MOTO VE66, meanwhile, is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, an MP3 player-like navigation, a dedicated camera key, USB 2.0 connectivity and WIFI.

The phones will be available within the first quarter of 2009.
