Acer today unveiled the world's first Windows Mobile-powered smartphone with dual-SIM support for both HSDPA and EDGE networks.
This means that users of the Acer Tempo DX900 simultaneously use two SIM cards, with both able to take advantage of high-speed data connections.
Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the Acer Tempo DX900 has a a 2.8" VGA touchscreen display and a custom user interface that is finger-friendly. It comes preinstalled with Pocket Outlook and mobile versions of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint for mobile productivity.
To manage the two phone lines and multiple wireless connections, the phones comes with an intuitive communication manager that also enables Flight Mode.
The Acer Tempo DX900 also comes equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, a front camera for video calls, a memory expansion slot for extra storage.
