The Samsung Omnia HD is making waves as the newest HD video playback handset, along with the tag, first phone to record in 720p HD, not bad at all.

It is no secret that the previous Omnia was lacking and ultimately became a crap phone, some say it's because the phone is running Windows Mobile, but I say blame Samsung for releasing this bug infested device unto the masses. The Omnia HD here and it is looking hot, the screen is really bright and according to Gizmodo, it is the best mobile phone display to date, take that Apple.

While watching the video, you will notice some of the same problems found in the previous Omnia such as the really bad response time from the touchscreen, so it seems the only real change here is the HD capability and added storage, just another damn Omnia.
