Windows Mobile 7 is official everyone! Steve Ballmer talked about Windows Mobile during a Strategic Update Meeting on Tuesday. It has been revealed that Windows Mobile is a core business of Microsoft. The company has 2,000 employees working on it and about a billion dollars invested every year in operating expenses. A Zune phone however is not going to be created yet.
As always Ballmer is confident in the future of Windows Mobile despite heavy competition. Windows Mobile 7 will make its way to the public only next year and this year seems to be dedicated to Windows Mobile 6.5. What do you think? Are you going to get a new Windows Mobile 6.5 phone or are you going to wait for the better Windows Mobile 7 version?
