Speaking to a Finnish reporter, Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo said his company is "looking very actively" at delving into the Laptop Computer market, he didn't specify when we might see a Nokia branded Laptop but don't hold our breath for anything too soon, things like these take time, a couple years will probably do the trick if they even go ahead with the idea that is.
According to Kallasvuo, "We don't have to look even for five years from now to see that what we know as a mobile phone and what we know as a PC are in many ways converging,"
That quote kinda proves that Nokia is serious about the venture, personally I believe they should skip the Laptop and do Netbooks instead, the Laptop market is shrinking with the rise of the Netbook, so instead of manufacturing an over priced Laptop, an affordable Netbook would do the job just fine. Who wants a Symbian based Netbook say aye.
