VirtualGPS Lite is a Windows Mobile application that will emulate a GPS module and it will give you your current location by using cellular towers. Accuracy is pretty good but not comparable to a real GPS unit. The software will offer about 200m of accuracy in urban areas whereas for countryside the accuracy suffers your coordinates might differ by as much as 5km from the real ones.
VirtualGPS Lite works similarly to Google Maps but unlike Google's My Location which can be used only in Maps, VirtualGPS Lite will work just fine with any other navigation software. Another important feature of this freeware application is that it uses 3 modes of getting cellular information instead of just the one Google Maps uses. Ready to try it out?
