VMware has managed to achieve the impossible. It took a Nokia 5800 table and installed both Android and Windows CE on it and made them run side by side in virtual machine. After all that's what VMware is working on, virtualization technology for PC, Mac and Linux.
VMware Mobile Virtualization Platform is a software that can be embedded on a mobile phone to "decouple the applications and data from the underlying hardware." It will run on low power and low memory and it supports lots of operating systems: Windows CE 5.0 and 6.0, Linux 2.6.x, Symbian 9.x, eCos, µITRON NORTi and µC/OS-II, but there's no Windows Mobile support just yet.
Do you really need to run to mobile OS at the same time? I bet you'd love running some other OS on your Windows Mobile phone wouldn't you? Check the link for more info on WMware and check the video for a demo of Android and Windows CE running together on the Nokia tablet.
