Various websites are reporting that the Windows Mobile-powered Treo Pro is set to be offered by US telco Alltel which will become the first telco to offer the CDMA version of Palm's flagship handset.

A report said that Alltel will sell the Treo Pro for $199 after a $125 rebate and with a two-year contract.

The report comes as a surprise because Sprint has earlier been rumored to be rolling out the Treo Pro's CDMA version.

Sprint was supposed to offer the Treo Pro for $249.

The CDMA version of the Treo Pro is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 and features WIFI, GPS and high-speed internet via EVDO Rev. A.
