OK so right now I am a bit on the confused side barely hanging on. I thought the Omnia HD handset from Samsung would be Symbian based, now it seems that might not be the case at all.

It appears as if Samsung thinks with two minds here, first I heard Windows Mobile, then Symbian, now Windows Mobile again, when will it settle at one? Maybe they should just go for both OS on a single handset, that would be interesting. Samsung came out and said the Omnia brand will be reserved exclusively for Windows Mobile to ease confusion amongst customers, this means the Omnia HD could be a Windows Mobile handset or they could just slap Symbian on it and change the name, we will have to wait and see what happens.

The first Omnia handset didn't get rave reviews so I hope this latests version in the works will be better.
