Microsoft has cleared the air around Marketplace application sharing. Microsoft said earlier that it will allow buyers to run purchased apps on up to five phones. Or re-install the apps again on your phone after reset for up to five times. Some speculated that this rule will let buyers actually share those applications with their friends and family.
We hate to break your bubble here but Microsoft will definitely not allow Marketplace application sharing. You will have to prove you own every device you plan to install applications coming from the Marketplace. You will still be able to install any app up to five times, but your friends and family will have to purchase their own.
