You can find the TG01 known as T-01 in Japan to be exclusive to the Japanese Carrier Docomo, this juggernaut features a 1GHz Snapdragon processor courtesy of the good folks over at Qualcomm. Other things you'll find in the T-01 is a 4.1 inch resistive touch display, Windows Mobile 6.1, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, custom user interface by Toshiba and many other stuff.
I would be quite pleased to see this phone launched elsewhere in the world, I hope they make it snappy.

I just recently bought the T01 here in japan, I really must say it is terrible. I read all the reviews before its release and honestly think they were mis-leading. I know nothing about processor speeds and what not, but comments like "juggernaut" imply a very impressivly strong and fast operation. The reality is different, it is constantly stalling (particulary the toshiba stripe style interface). Its operating speed is nothing to celebrate either, it can be slow at times to start a program. Its touch sensitive screen is sometimes unreliable too. I had hoped this would be a great unit but find myself wanting an ipod. Unfortunately it is the only decent smart phone docomo offer. The phone also comes with a program called Kinoma player which is an attempt to give it the similar functions to the iphone, but it is a difficult program to use as an everyday music player. Also without a proper headphone socket you are left with plugging headphones through the micro usb port on its side (which seems flimsy). The G-Sensor in it also is a disaster. Im not sure if the sensor is bad or if it is the softwar, but if youre phone is in youre pocket and then rings, when you try to answer you sometimes find the sensor has switched the screen to the horizontal view, but even holding it vertical doesnt result in a return to normal view. It can take minutes sometimes for it to realize which way round it is. It is really annoying so I have switched off the sensor functions altogether. I guess what Im trying to say really is that the new Toshiba phone has the potential to be so much, but really lacks the fine tuning that was neccessary to make it a competitor for the likes of the iphone.
