I am not a big fan of Flash Lite 3.1, I'd prefer to have full Flash on my mobile, but seeing Flash Lite on Android is just really awesome because the Platform really needs it to fully go head on with competitors. The HTC Hero is the first Android handset to come with Flash pre-installed, no word if users will be able to download Flash Lite 3.1 from the Android Market or it just exclusive for the Hero at this time.
With Flash Lite 3.1 on the HTC Hero, you'll be able to view up to 80% of Flash content on the web as of now, no need to download Youtube applications, just go straight to the website and get your video fix underway. If you watch allot of Hulu like most normal people, it is available for your viewing pleasures on the go. This is the first big step for Flash on Android, the other step makes its debut in October when full Flash 10 will be screaming on Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and WebOS....sorry BlackBerry and iPhone users.
