At the end of the summer we're hoping to see the Marketplace in action filled with Windows Mobile 6.5 applications. But it looks like Microsoft will not have that many apps to brag with in the first place. Rumors say that only 600 applications will be available to download in September 2009.
Although a different number (around 20,000) of apps was mentioned earlier, it looks like only a fraction of those will be ready to be installed on your Windows Mobile 6.5 phone. On comparison, the Ovi Store has more than 20,000 items for download, the Apple store has around 55,000 apps while Palm has just 30 apps ready for its new webOS. What do you think? Is 600 enough for you?
