Sad thing about the Windows Mobile App Store is the fact that it will launch with just 600 applications, but only a fraction of that number will actually consists of freeware. Microsoft lags behind Google who's Android Market currently has around 5,000 applications and counting, but ahead of Palm's App Store which has about 30 minimum. Here is the good thing about Windows Mobile Marketplace, if you buy an application you can always return the app if for some reason you do not like it, I see allot of exploitation in that move but good nonetheless.
For the record, if you're not into buying apps then you can always visit our Windows Mobile freeware website at Freeware Pocket PC.
