At a media event in London, a Archos exec announced that their first ever Android based device will be unveiled to the masses on September 15th 2009. The good thing is that this device will be a beast, most likely the best Android device/handheld due to the expected 5inch touch display, Adobe Flash video support, TV recording, 7hrs video playback, 7,2Mbps HSUPA connectivity, and best of all the up to 500GB hard drive space.
Since Archos is incorporating the cheaper hard disk drive instead of the better but expensive Flash drive, the device should be fairly cheap at the lower end, more info come September 15.
