Here's a neat application for Android smartphones that requires you to shake your handset to launch your favorite applications.

Motion Launcher

So I will just come out and say it, I don't find this application to be of much use, after a while shaking your damn phone to launch an app will get tedious at best, but this is just my opinion, yours may be different.

Task switcher mode :

In case of 3 apps are running, shaken twice within 5 sec of last task switching to switch 1 - 2 - 3 - 1. After 5 sec of task switching, all apps will be reordered. Same as Windows PCs.

Launcher mode :

Launches certain application that you registered in "toggle" tab in order you set in "order" tab.

About "Appearance" in setting window:

If you check "Appearance" in setting window, "recent" tab of Motion Launcher that shows recent tasks will open prior to any task(if task switcher mode) or application(if Launcher mode). Uncheck to never launch Motion Launcher by shaking.

Tips:

I use this application with the setting is "Launcher mode" and "Appearance" is on. While any application running on the device, shaken-twice displays list of recent applications so I can tap some of it if application I want to launch is recently launched and remained as "recent".

Otherwise, second shaken-twice launches app I registered and ordered. I think setting SMS, dialer or any other application you use frequently in "toggle" tab will be convenience.
