Palm Pre is heading for Europe this year, the best thing about the European Pre is the fact that it will be GSM and not the quickly dying CDMA, finally.

Palm didn't announce the date set but Christmas unfortunately, but what is known is that the handset will be available in the UK, Ireland and Germany exclusive to the O2 network, Movistar on the other hand will get exclusive rights to the handset in Spain. Still waiting to hear what the pricing will be like, will be cheaper than a N97 no doubt.
