Face it, your smartphone isn't cheap, it didn't fall from the skies like hail, you had to work long and hard to buy your handset so how would you feel if some guy pounced upon you and steal your precious? SmartTracker is the name of this application for Windows Mobile, basically if your Windows Mobile phone got lost or stolen you may be able to retrieve it by tracking its whereabouts via GPS and Google Maps. To activate SmartTracker, you must first send a text message to your phone, SmartTracker will then wake up, obtain a lock of the phone's location and send you an Email with exact GPS coordinates and a link to Google Maps.

My real beef with the app is, what if the phone is not lost but stolen and the thief was smart enough to remove your SIM card, what then? Seriously, this app may never solve your problem if your phone got stolen, but you never know what could happen so be sure to download it.
