The long awaited Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 and M20 are heading this month into Taiwan, these feature rich Linux based smartphones should surely cause a stir amongst fanboys and normal smartphone lovers alike.

The phones will be out on the 27th of July, soon after folks in the US and Europe will be able to get their hands on these GPS centric smartphones. Seriously though, if I were you I would stay a million feet from both the G60 and the M20 as long term support is from Garmin-Asus is not something you should look forward to, why? Well back in June, Garmin-Asus has canned this OS in favor of Android for reasons unknown at this point.

If you really want a smartphone from Garmin-Asus then wait it out for their first Android offering.
