Ok, so bad news for all the BlackBerry owners out there who got their hands on Skyfire Alpha for testing purposes mostly, the whole thing has been pulled for a few weeks, which is pissing everyone off, and quite rightfully so.

You see, some idiot who got invited to to test Syfire Alpha for BlackBerry went out of their way to leak the product to non Alpha testers, this move got the Skyfire developers angry so the best thing they could have done to teach noobs a lesson was to take all the servers offline. What does that mean? It means Skyfire for BlackBerry users is not working right now, servers will be back in earnest within a few wees time.

Today our alpha application was leaked. We are temporarily halting our Alpha program. As you know, we were working with a small group of you under NDA and our intent was not to open the program beyond that small number right now. We appreciate your feedback on Alpha3, and in the next few weeks we’ll be sending you a new build to test. In the meantime, the servers will be down and you will not be able to use the application.

Sad sad day for BB users, another antagonizing few weeks using the default browser or Mini Opera.
