Apple is about to take China by storm very soon, 5 million lucky souls will have the chance to own an iPhone and I won't be too surprised if all that 5 mill get sold out quickly.

So here's the thing, China Unicom has ordered a whopping 5 million iPhone 3GS from Apple to go on sale in September 2009. These are not ordinary iPhone 3GS's apparently, China Unicom has somehow strike a deal with Apple which would see Chinese iPhones gunning it without Wi-Fi.....lame. If you're on the China Unicom network, you'll be able to pick up a 16GB 3GS for ¥2,400 ($352 USD) and the 32GB for ¥4,800 ($704 USD).
