First ever firmware for the HTC Hero is ready to be downloaded and to be installed on to your beloved Android handset. Nothing huge in this update, mainly small fixes for small problems from what I can tell so far.

What the firmware does overall us speed up the system, many things should now be more responsive than before. Another thing to take note of, the update also make the 5MP camera a little bit better, but do not expect to take better looking pictures though.
