Verizon Wireless will be getting a couple of HTC smartphones in the coming months, one is Windows Mobile and the other Android, i thought they hated Android.

First off is the Windows Mobile handset the HTC Imagio, this smartphone will hit Verizon on October 6th 2009 and as you come to expect, Windows Mobile 6.5 is the OS of choice, it features a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB ROM/256MB RAM, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and anti-shake, GPS and GSM connectivity in addition to Verizon's CDMA/EV-DO connectivity.

Next on the horizon after the Imagio is the HTC Predator, this is said to be an Android handset but right now there are no details regarding what to expect from this handset.
