Interesting rumor here, it appears O2 Germany could become the first service provider to offer the GSM version of the Palm Pre, many folks wouldn't mind that.

We first saw the GSM Palm Pre back in July, it was considered a rumor then but from the looks of things we all knew it was real, then it became official after news popped up about the handset launching first in Europe. The guys over at Pre-Central contacted O2 Germany after which they were told they could make pre-orders in the next two weeks, we really do hope all that comes to fruition because the Pre is very descent smartphone and it need the legs GSM can give it.
