Palm Treo 700p is coming together in photos. What is the P acronym? Well, its Palm, as it seems. This photo was leaked at TreoCentral yesterday. We chose not to write the story about this new Treo since we wasn't too sure if this picstures are not fake. Today, Engadget reports that a Treo Expert named "Shadowmite" confirms that these are legit photos. So without delay, here is the new Palm Treo 700p.

We will be glad to find any more better quality pictures of the treo, meantime in some specs are making the rounds, and the new Treo 700p, which will supposedly be available from Sprint in April.

Also, here some interesting facts so far as per reported over on shadowmite irc chat to Treocentral. Note all info below was posted in the chat:

-can receive call while on 1xEvDo, but cannot call and browse at the same time (limitation of 1xEvDo)

-menu key moved to bottom left shift spot
-LudusW-like sms after call functionality
-was able to make receive call via Scala 500 BT headset
-flashing asterix replaced by little golden bell icon
-green button is talk button, phone button for contacts
-new "fast mode" in blazer
-No WiFi drivers installed and no ability to test a WiFi SD card
-HUGE NEW DBCACHE SIZE!! >> 10MB!!!!

The fact that Palm is releasing a new Treo running on the Palm OS is a very sweet news to all the loyalists who weren't happy to switch to Windows Mobile to get 3G on a Treo.
