Just yesterday
we told you that Verizon didn't seem interested in the Palm Pre anymore but today we hear that Big Red is definitely going to sell the Pre once Sprint's exclusivity deal with Palm expires.
As you already expect, there aren't any official press releases from Palm or Verizon to indicate these joint future plans but according to inside leaks Verizon will definitely not pass on the Pre. The phone has yet to prove itself as a strong iPhone competitor but that doesn't mean Verizon is simply going to ignore it.
And let's not forget that a GSM version of the Pre is bound to hit the US at some point in the near future and AT&T will definitely be one of the carriers interested in selling a GSM Palm Pre. That's one more reason for Verizon not to ignore the first webOS phone.
