So according to T-Mobile: "The rollout of Android 1.6 (Donut) to T-Mobile's G1 and myTouch 3G customers is now underway. The over-the-air update will be delivered to all G1 and myTouch customers in the coming days." The coming days will be a special one for all Android owners, especially owners of the HTC G1, but by now they should know that most likely Android 2.0 has no home on the G1 and should be considering the possibilities of upgrading to something bigger and better like the HTC Hero.
Android 1.6 brings to the table support for more screen resolutions, CDMA, a better Android Market that allows developers to upload screenshots of applications, a quick search box, battery usage indicator that allows users to see which application is using more energy, much faster camera experience, gallery and much more.
This is basically a small update but what everyone is waiting for is Android 2.0, cant wait no longer.
