It doesn't really matter what a phone is baptized by its manufacturer as long as it meets my needs. But Acer has decided all of a sudden to change the names of its smartphones before making them available to UK customers.
The Acer F1 will be called the neoTouch, the C1 will become the beTouch E100, the E1 will be known as the beTouch E101 while the L1 will be called the beTouch E200. The phones are expected to be available in the UK sometime next week.
Interested in some pricing details? Well here's how much you're going to have to pay for a new Acer smartphone in the UK:
-Acer neoTouch: £295 without tax
-Acer beTouch E100: £210 without tax
-Acer beTouch E101: £159 without tax
-Acer beTouch E200: £225 without tax
Unfortunately Acer's Android phone, the A1, hasn't been announced at this time but we should assume it will also get a name change pretty soon.
