If you're a Canadian wireless customer you should be really happy to find out that Bell is going to roll out officially its HSPA network nationwide in November. And that could mean that you should get ready to switch from your current carrier to Bell.
The new HSPA network is an absolute requirement for Bell. The carrier is the official network of the upcoming 2010 Olympic Winter Games so Bell was under a lot of pressure lately. But the Canadians did it! The network will be launched as expected despite the fact that Bell finished work ahead of schedule.
The new network will offer speeds of up to 21Mbps and it's basically an overlay on top of its already existing 1XRTT/EV-DO Rev A. network. Bell will offer HSPA support to 93% of the entire Canadian population as it covers over 1,000,000 square kilometers and over 20,000 cities and town. If you happen to go to Canada for the Olympic Games, make sure you tell us how this exciting HSPA network performs.
