The T-Mobile Sidekick issue is one of the most famous scandals in the modern telecommunications business. And it's not over yet! After we've seen T-Mobile apologize for the lost data and promise compensation
packages for those affected, we now find out that some Sidekick users might be able to get back some of that irretrievable data after all.
Some Sidekick users are reporting that their lost contacts have been returned to their phones. They have all switched the phones off before noticing the improvement. That, of course, was a move against T-Mobile's advice of not resetting or draining the battery of the Sidekick.
Don't try this at home kids, as your Sidekick might die forever. That's what happened to other users that tried to replicate the success of those customers that got their contacts back. T-Mobile will probably keep working on the matter which means we'll be back with a lot more updates about the whole Sidekick situation.
