A few days ago we've told you how Apple has decided to add a new bootrom
to its iPhone 3GS in order to prevent hackers from jailbreaking the phone. Even the famous iPhone Dev Team has been reported to acknowledge that the new iPhones won't be jailbroken anytime soon.
Of course, there is a trick and those with a weak heart and poor technical skills might want to sit this one out. It looks like the 24kpwn exploit can still be used to jailbreak the phone. But there's a catch! You will have to tether the iPhone to your computer in order to boot up.
Basically Apple has managed to interfere with the full process of jailbreaking the iPhone 3GS and delay for a while. Hackers will probably find a way around it as they did countless times in the past. In case you didn't see any of our past warnings then we will tell you again and again: jailbreaking and unlocking your phones might bring irreparable damages and void warranties. It's totally up to you to make such decisions!
