Verizon recently has kicked of a heated campaign that sees it indirectly throwing hot words at the the iPhone, the campaign mentioned stuff like "iDon't customize", "iDon't have a real keyboard" and "iDon't allow open development" and other things. The campaign is about everything the iPhone cannot do but Droid can, this means we are in for some serious showdown when the Verizon releases the Motorola Droid with all that adrenaline pumping. At the end of the day, I expect the iPhone to come on top in this battle with the Motorola Droid severely beaten, one would have to come better than the Droid to make the iPhone bleed.
Here are a few snippets coming straight from Verizon's mouth:
"The new campaign features a very different look and a whole new attitude, highlighting many of the things that iDevice doesn't do." Strong words from Verizon, they better hope the Droid turns out to be a good phone or I would be the first to bring this up again with a vengeance.
