RIM to Make inPulse Watchphone? The device in the picture is not exactly a watch and it's not exactly a phone either. The inPulse is designed by RIM and it's meant to work together with BlackBerry phones but it's definitely not a standalone watchphone like LG's watchphone for example.

The inPulse is going to be announced soon and it should work perfectly with your BlackBerry phones over a Bluetooth connection. The watch features and OLED screen that is going to deliver SMS, emails and a lot more straight from your BlackBerry.

The device is meant to be sold as the inPulse smartwatch and it's supposed to be used whenever taking that big BlackBerry out of your pocket or bag is out of the question. Say you're in a meeting or at the movies, or even driving. Would you take out your BlackBerry when you could simply use the inPulse instead?

On the other hand we want phones with bigger screens so we can really enjoy features like SMS, emails and other smart features. Do we really need a gadget that comes with a small OLED device that will make reading messages even harder when driving. Oh yeah, I nearly forgot, you're not supposed to text and drive anyway, so why get the watch? What do you think?
