HTC's hottest Android phone available so far is, without a doubt, the HTC Hero. At least for now, the phone happens to be one of the most popular phones out there. According to HTC, the phone has been selling like hot cakes in Europe and Asia thus putting pressure on production.
If you want an HTC Hero then now is the time to grab it. Although there aren't any shortages announced at this point you might find it difficult to get a Hero in your particular market. HTC expects high demand to last at least until the first quarter of 2010 but starting with November there will be enough stock to go around.
On the other hand I can't blame you if you're not interested in the HTC Hero. Phones like Motorola Droid, Acer Liquid or HTC Dragon are just around the corner and the Hero won't be able to match anyone of them in features and specs. So in case you can't find your Hero now, it might be a sign that you have to wait for the next-gen of Android phones which are going to be available in the following months.
