Sony Ericsson to Unveil the Xperia X3 Android Phone on November 3 Sony Ericsson is ready to step out from the shadows with a brand new Xperia phone. The X3 also dubbed as the Rachael is supposed to be unveiled on November 3. The phone is Sony Ericsson's first Android phone so we expect it to be a remarkable device.

The phone will sport a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch WVGA display and an 8-megapixel camera. The phone sounds at least as interesting as the HTC Passion that's coming from Verizon Wireless.

Unfortunately none of this is yet confirmed as we're still waiting for Sony Ericsson to make everything public. Furthermore there's no carrier mentioned, at least for the USA, so who's going to sell Sony Ericsson's first Android phone? The phone could relaunch Sony Ericsson's mobile business which is suffering at this point but that can't happen without the big carriers around the world.

We'll be back with all the official specs once Sony Ericsson reveals them and hopefully by that time we'll also be able to tell you when to expect the Rachael in stores.
