Palm's second webOS phone is now official and you can expect it to find it in a Sprint store near you soon. The company has officially announced the Pixi and Sprint is going to be the exclusive carrier in the USA.
So what will the Pixi have to offer you ask? Here's a specs rundown which will convince you that the Pixi could definitely be a powerful device:
-2.63-inch capacitive touchscreen display
-320 x 400 resolution
-multitouch and gesture-based navigation
-full QWERTY keyboard
-8GB of built-in memory
-Bluetooth
-EV-DO Rev. A support
I haven't mentioned any WiFi support as the Pixi doesn't offer any. You'll have to get a data plan if you want to surf the Internet on the go.
The phone will be available from Sprint stores starting with November 15. You will be available for $99.99 after a $50 instant rebate and a $100 mail-in rebate. Naturally you'll have to get a new two-year Sprint contract to be able to enjoy the Pixi for a subsidized price.
