LG GW620 Android Phone Out in the Open? To tell you the truth the phone isn't available yet in stores but LG did announce its first Android handset. The GW620 can hardly measure up against the Droid but it will give the Cliq and the Droid Eris a run for your money.

The phone comes with specs like 3-inch resistive touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, dualband UMTS, quadband GSM, full QWERTY keyboard, Android 1.5 Cupcake and LG's S-Class UI on top.

The phone will be available in various European markets by the end of the year for an undisclosed price. North American markets will probably be too busy with the Droid, the Hero, the Droid Eris and the Cliq to care too much about LG's first Android phone.

Let's face it LG, the GW620 looks good and sounds interesting but it's simply not enough considering the alternatives. And didn't you hear? The Rachael is about to come out and impress everyone with its splendor.
