In case you forgot Microsoft has its own search engine. Bing
has been available for quite a while now so if you're interested in a different search experience then you could ignore Google for a while and switch to Bing.
And Microsoft has decided to make Bing even more mobile friendly. That's an important move considering that more and more people are choosing smartphones instead of simple phones. The smartphones are used more and more for going online so mobile searches have become a daily habit.
The changes include finger-friendly buttons and even a movie finger which will let users browse for movies that are available in a cinema near them. Just go to m.bing.com
from your smartphone in order to see Bing in action.
The new Bing version will work only with some of these smartphones and other devices:
iPhone/iPod touch,
T-Mobile G1,
Samsung Omnia,
Verizon Imagio,
Zune HD
If you own a different model you can always return to Google for your searches. Although Microsoft should consider offering the same Bing experience to all smartphone users out there!
