Forget the Droid for a second and remember that Motorola's first Android phone is the CLIQ. The phone has been announced officially a while ago and T-Mobile is the official carrier in the USA. The CLIQ has been available for pre-order since October 19 but starting today T-Mobile stores will have the phone waiting for you.
The CLIQ is not as smart as the Droid but it's definitely an impressive handset. The phone is designed for those of you that need to be in constant contact with your friends and family through various social networking services and instant messaging programs. The MOTOBLU user interface on top of Android makes sure that you can accesses all those social networking sites that you're looking for.
The phone is available for $199.99 and in case you haven't pre-ordered your CLIQ yet you can go ahead and get it from any T-Mobile store. A new 2-year contract still applies so make sure you're ready for the commitment.
