By know we all know that Dell intends to launch an Android phone in the USA and we also know it's going to be an improved version of the Android smartphone announced for the Chinese market. Today we find out that the FCC has cleared the phone and now we're waiting for an U.S. carrier to pick it up.
The smartphone comes with support for 850/1900 GSM UMTS bands which indicate that AT&T is definitely a good candidate for launching the phone.
The phone comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, 640 x 360 resolution, AGPS, WiFi connectivity, a 3-megapixel camera and Microsoft Exchange support.
AT&T isn't saying anything about the phone yet despite the fact that it happens to be the only major carrier in the USA that doesn't have an Android handset available so far. What do you say? Would you buy the Dell 3iX or do you happen to have your sights set on a different Android handset?
