With Motorola's Droid
and the HTC Droid Eris coming out strong today we're probably going to see Verizon get a lot of new subscribers in the next following months. The Droid is definitely a hot phone capable to match the iPhone and we've been waiting for such a phone to arrive for a long time now.
And it looks like AT&T wants to match Verizon's pricing offers. The Droid and the Droid Eris are available for $199.99 and $99.99 and rumors say that a $99 8GB iPhone 3GS is coming soon as it's supposed to replace the current 8GB iPhone 3G available from AT&T.
There's nothing official at this point from either AT&T or Apple but rumors say the new 8GB iPhone 3GS is going to be available in time for the holidays. On the other hand the rumor isn't tied to any other carrier besides AT&T. Should we assume that Apple is going to make an 8GB iPhone 3GS especially for AT&T? What about the rest of the world?
