Apple Brings in the Most Profit in Q3 2009 Although Nokia is still the number one cell phone manufacturer out there the company isn't the most profitable in the world anymore. At least not according to Q3 2009 financial results. Nokia, and everyone else, has been surpassed by Apple when it comes to profits.

Apple might not be a traditional player in the mobile business but its Apple became very popular in the last couple of years. Apple has sold more and more phones all over the world and those sales are now a big part of Apple's quarterly profit. Last quarter Apple pulled in $1.6 billion in profits after selling 7.4 million iPhones for a total of $4.5 billion in sales.

Nokia on the other hand sold 108.5 million phones which equals to $10.36 billion in sales and only a $1.1 billion in profits. So what about you? What would you choose between Apple and Nokia? iPhone 3GS or Nokia N900?
