fring Brings Video Calls to the iPhone I know what you're thinking, people! How is this possible? Did the iPhone get a secondary camera all of a sudden? I'm afraid not! But that fring application which you've grown to love over the years has delivered again. fring has decided to bring one-way video calls over Internet to the iPhone.

And it looks like Apple is willing to allow such nonsense. All you need is an iPhone, or iPod touch for that matter, an active connection to the Internet and iPhone OS 3.0 or later installed. You'll be talking with your friends in no time. But you'll have to choose between seeing the other person or letting them see you. Two-way video calls aren't possible just yet.

In case you own any other kind of smartphones, and there are plenty to choose from, you'll be able to use fring to enjoy regular two-way video calls. iPhone owners will have to wait for Apple to launch a new device that comes with a front-facing camera to enjoy such features from fring.
