AT&T Plans to Sell 400,000 Motorola Backflip Android Phones? The Motorola Backflip has been properly announced by Moto during CES 2010, and it looks like the ingenious Android device will go to U.S. consumers via AT&T. The carrier is finally ready to get involved with Android although it has avoided it in the previous two years.

According to rumors and leaks, AT&T has big plans for the Backflip. In fact the company has planned to sell no less than 400,000 phones which quite a daring number. Naturally no one will confirm everything so far so we'll keep you updated as more news will be available.

The Backflip is certainly a very dependable device and it should sell very well provided to Android fans. And I bet AT&T is really hoping to strike gold with the introduction of its first Android phones as the iPhone exclusivity deal in the USA is about to end later this year.
