RIM New Web Browsing to Bring New Surfing Speeds? It's not unusual to hear people complain every once in a while about their BlackBerry phone not being fast enough when it come to web browsing. And RIM apparently has heard everyone's request and it's finally taking some decisive action.

The company wants to speed up the whole process of getting the data from the Internets and that's definitely something quite daring. RIM has a whole patent on this matter and we should assume to see these new faster web surfing speeds emerge in the near future.

What RIM wants to set up a proxy server right on the BlackBerry handset which would get all the browser's web requests. Those requests would be sent to a wireless gateway after being compressed and then compressed data would be sent back to the proxy thus making the whole browsing experience more enjoyable on those BlackBerry smartphones. All we need now is see this patent put to work as soon as possible. What do you think?
