Google Nexus One OTA Update to Deliver Multitouch and More The much awaited over-the-air update for the Google Nexus One is finally upon us. This is the first official update and it's said to bring on quite a few interesting surprises.

The OTA update will improve the 3G connectivity which is probably one of the most sought-after fixes. It will also deliver multitouch and you'll be able to pinch-and-zoom your way into the browser, Gallery and Maps applications.

Furthermore Google's new firmware will get you Google Goggles and Google Maps updates. Google Goggle will be available directly on the device from the All Apps menu. The Maps application will be updated to version 3.4 which will include the following:

- Starred items synchronized with maps.google.com – access your favorite places from your phone or computer
- Search suggestions from your personal maps.google.com history – makes it easy to search for places you've searched for before
- Night mode in Google Maps Navigation – automatically changes your screen at night for easier viewing and driving
